TODAY WAS THE SADDEST DAY SINCE SUMMER BEGAN

....I WENT BACK TO WORK

I CHANGED SO MUCH OVER THE SUMMER!

So, I got a phone call Tuesday (7/28) from my Principal (Tammy). She just wanted me to know that the computers from my computer lab were removed to make room for another 5th grade classroom...

Needless to say I wasn't happy. I will be "visiting" the classrooms to present my "Orchard" program that is a program that should individually based with each student having their own computer.

It is going to be interesting to say the least, but Tammy promised me lots of help!?!

Any ideas for K-6th grade lessons that would last 20-50 minutes please send them my way.

Pioneer Days
Friday Cambria left Trefoil Ranch and drove 'til 2 a.m. to get to Taylor to spend her only week off for this summer with all of us (including Jason or especially Jason).
This is part of the gang at the Parade... I didn't do a good job of taking pictures of the floats...the theme was "Women: the Heart and Soul of Pioneering"...it was excellent!

Of course this was my girls favorite...a visual of their dream wedding... doesn't every girl deserve to dream?? I think they should!

After the parade we took the fam to Trappers Cafe to have lunch and homemade pies, it's tradition! Then we headed to the community theater performance of "Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat". It was excellent. As soon as that was over we went to Pete & Shannas for ribs/chicken/steak dinner...it was yummalicious! Thanks you guys!

Cam & Jason, Shan & Jerika went to the rodeo, fireworks, and dance. But Alex, Rae & I watched fireworks with Pete, Shanna & Gang.

Sunday T & T had the sisters & our families over to eat. It was a happy/sad occasion. I was happy for all of us to be together but, I was sad my Mom & Dad weren't there. It's kinda weird going home without them there. Thanks for being such great hosts T & T...LOVE your new house!

The girls & I, Randa & A___, Gaynell & kids stayed until Tuesday for some real R & R. Shan played racquetball with Trevor Hall & Bryce Palmer even tho it was raining. Rae went to the skate park and hung out with the cousins. Cam caught up on her sleep and I played NERTZ until all hours.

SO BASICALLY WE ATE & PLAYED, ATE & PLAYED, ETC. AND HAD A GREAT TIME DOING IT!
